1. Introduction

Welcome to Foyer des Essences (“we”, “our”, “us”). These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the Foyer des Essences mobile application, website, and related services (collectively, the “Service”). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

2. Service Description

Foyer des Essences is a weekly meeting place about French aromatherapy, phytotherapy, and flower essences, built around Friday publications, slow conversation, a free archive entry point, invited authors, and subscription-based access to the broader archive. The Service includes weekly editorial publications, an archive with a free entry layer, a multilingual reading experience (Russian, English, Estonian), a calendar of publications and events, subscription-gated reading, and push notifications.

3. User Accounts

To use the Service you create an account with a valid email address and a password (minimum 8 characters), and optionally a phone number for recovery. You are responsible for the confidentiality of your credentials and all activity under your account, and must notify us immediately of unauthorized access. You must be at least 16 years old to use the Service.

4. Subscription Terms

The Service offers multiple plans: Basic (€5/mo — weekly publications and archive access), Plus (€20/mo — publications, online/offline events, the possibility to ask questions in personal communication and receive recommendations), and Premium (€70/mo — everything in Plus plus personal guidance). Subscriptions are processed through Stripe. Some content is available without a subscription; full archive and premium features require an active subscription.

Access purchased on this website is delivered as a one-time promo code that you redeem inside the app; that code activates access for the stated duration. You may cancel a recurring subscription at any time; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period and no refunds are provided for partial periods. We may change pricing with at least 30 days' notice.

5. Content and Intellectual Property

All articles, essays, images, and materials published through the Service are the intellectual property of Foyer des Essences and its authors, protected by copyright. You may not reproduce, distribute, publicly display, or create derivative works from our content, use it commercially, or share subscription content with non-subscribers without written permission. “Foyer des Essences” and associated logos are trademarks.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the Service unlawfully, gain unauthorized access, disrupt the Service, use bots or scrapers, share account credentials, circumvent access or payment requirements, upload malicious code, or harass other users. Violations may result in immediate termination.

7. Disclaimers & Liability

The Service is provided “AS IS” and “AS AVAILABLE” without warranties of any kind. Health disclaimer: content about essential oils, herbs, and flower essences is for educational purposes only and is not medical advice — always consult a qualified healthcare professional. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for any damages exceeding the amount you paid in the 12 months preceding the claim.

8. Termination

You may terminate your account at any time from the in-app Profile screen or by contacting us. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, engage in fraudulent or illegal activity, or fail to pay subscription fees.

9. Governing Law & Contact

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Estonia. Disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Tallinn, Estonia, unless otherwise required by applicable consumer protection law. For questions, contact us:
